Transaction Publishers, 2015. Paperback. New Book. Paperback. Urban and Regional Planning in Canada both captures and analyzes the state of urban and regional planning throughout the constituencies of Canada. It is the result of a body of research funded by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the University of Toronto, and the Canadian Embassy in Washington. Rather than focusing on geography, this book places its emphasis on government and politics, documenting the responses of government agencies to the issues of population growth, urban development, exploitation of natural resources, regional disparities, and other issues of urban and regional planning. Urban and Regional Planning in Canada includes a list of tables, maps, and acronyms to assist the reader in a deeper understanding of the issues at hand. (2015 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR), Transaction Publishers, 2015, Doctoral Dissertation/ThesisPresented in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirement for the Degree of Doctor of PhilosophyMajor Professor: Dr. Sharon K. StollThe Robertello Evaluative Tool (RET) for Evidence-Based Practices in Alcohol Treatment was developed to provide alcohol treatment programs with an effect measurement of EBPs which examine specific program content. The RET assessment was completed with one pilot study program and four other outpatient alcohol treatment programs. The assessment process included completion of the RET by the program facilitators and an interview which was digitally recorded, transcribed, and analyzed. Analysis methods included Likert scale ratings collected in the areas of theoretical frameworks, mission, goals, and objectives, and treatment methods; qualitative data was segmented, coded, and themes were developed. Descriptive statistics and measures of central tendency were calculated for client demographic and recidivism information as available. Each facility was presented with EBP recommendations for implementation. After the pilot study analysis and the field study analysis processes, the RET was modified to ensure accuracy and ease of use.About the AuthorKimberly Matthews Robertello, Ph.D., ATC: Currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Washington State University. The Robertello Evaluative Tool (RET) for Evidence-Based Practices in Alcohol Treatment provides alcohol treatment program facilitators a valid and reliable measurement tool to evaluate their existing alcohol treatment program. The RET assesses programs¿ theoretical frameworks, mission, goals, objectives, and client outcomes against existing evidence-based practices to create a complete view of the program and its effectiveness. After the RET assessment process, practitioners will be able to generate evidence-based practice recommendations that are relevant and specific to their individual treatment program. The RET is ideal for practitioners wishing to assess current program practices, government agencies requiring a more formal evidence-based practice assessment process, and researchers in outpatient alcohol treatment.Product DetailsPaperback: 232 pagesPublisher: VDM Verlag Dr. Müller (February 18, 2009)Language: EnglishISBN-10: 363912670XISBN-13: 978-3639126709Product Dimensions: 8.6 x 5.9 x 0.6 inchesShipping Weight: 12 ounces (View shipping rates and policies)Evidence-Based Practices in Alcohol Treatment: The Robertello Evaluative Tool for Assessment And EvaluationFront CoverKimberly Matthews RobertelloVDM Publishing, 2009 - Alcoholism - 232 pagesQR code for Evidence-Based Practices in Alcohol TreatmentTitle Evidence-Based Practices in Alcohol Treatment: The Robertello Evaluative Tool for Assessment And EvaluationAuthor Kimberly Matthews RobertelloPublisher VDM Publishing, 2009ISBN 363912670X, 9783639126709Length 232 pages, University of Idaho, 2008, Planning Commission Government of India/Academic Foundation, 2009.
