[SR: 2289530], Paperback, [EAN: 9781594515729], Routledge, Routledge, Book, [PU: Routledge], Routledge, The victims of US military campaigns are usually nameless civilians in far away places, but there are also victims closer to home - the soldiers so often used and then discarded by the establishment. Binding Their Wounds is a book about US veterans written by a US veteran - Bob 'Doc' Topmiller. Topmiller fought in Vietnam, founded a school for orphans there, and become a professor of history before he tragically committed suicide. Close friend and scholar Kerby Neill stepped in to complete the book. The result is a history of US veterans and their treatment by the US establishment from the early republic to the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Binding Their Wounds offers policy recommendations to improve post-conflict treatment and care for veterans which are long overdue., 10, Health, Fitness & Dieting, 4716, Addiction & Recovery, 282840, Aging, 4696, Alternative Medicine, 4601, Beauty, Grooming, & Style, 282948, Children's Health, 4613, Diets & Weight Loss, 4656, Diseases & Physical Ailments, 4645, Exercise & Fitness, 4667, Men's Health, 4682, Mental Health, 282861, Nutrition, 11119, Psychology & Counseling, 4728, Reference, 465688, Safety & First Aid, 6514340011, Sexual Health, 6511978011, Teen Health, 4672, Women's Health, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 4853, United States, 4867, African Americans, 4868, Civil War, 4869, Colonial Period, 6343225011, Immigrants, 4871, Revolution & Founding, 14278871, State & Local, 4808, Americas, 9, History, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 5011, Military, 3568213011, Afghan War, 5012, Aviation, 1043892, Canada, 5015, Intelligence & Espionage, 387040011, Iraq War, 5016, Korean War, 16233491, Life & Institutions, 5017, Napoleonic Wars, 5018, Naval, 5019, Pictorials, 16244451, Prisoners of War, 16244121, Regiments, 5020, Strategy, 5021, Uniforms, 5022, United States, 5025, Vietnam War, 1043894, War of 1812, 5026, Weapons & Warfare, 5030, World War I, 5031, World War II, 9, History, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 227563, Health Policy, 227560, Administration & Medicine Economics, 173514, Medical Books, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 11093, International & World Politics, 10548, Arms Control, 1196144, Diplomacy, 3049231, Security, 271627011, Trades & Tariffs, 11099, Treaties, 5571266011, African, 5571267011, Asian, 5571268011, Australian & Oceanian, 5571269011, Canadian, 5571270011, Caribbean & Latin American, 5571271011, European, 5571272011, Middle Eastern, 5571273011, Russian & Former Soviet Union, 5571255011, Politics & Government, 3377866011, Politics & Social Sciences, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 10767, Public Affairs & Administration, 5571275011, Public Affairs & Policy, 5571255011, Politics & Government, 3377866011, Politics & Social Sciences, 1000, Subjects, 283155, Books, 468230, History, 491410, Africa, 684268011, Ancient, 491412, Asia, 491414, Europe, 491418, Latin America, 684269011, Middle East, 684270011, Military, 491422, United States, 468206, Humanities, 465600, New, Used & Rental Textbooks, 2349030011, Specialty Boutique, 283155, Books, 689677011, Health Policy, 689670011, Administration & Policy, 468228, Medicine & Health Sciences, 465600, New, Used & Rental Textbooks, 2349030011, Specialty Boutique, 283155, Books, 491470, International Relations, 491464, Political Science, 468214, Social Sciences, 465600, New, Used & Rental Textbooks, 2349030011, Specialty Boutique, 283155, Books, 684295011, Public Affairs, 491464, Political Science, 468214, Social Sciences, 465600, New, Used & Rental Textbooks, 2349030011, Specialty Boutique, 283155, Books
