Willey, who represented the restored government of Virginia in the United States Senate, and who was also one of the first U. S. Senators elected by the New State, and through whose agency, chie?y, the New State was born and reared into legal entity, was the last surviving member of the trio. He, also, recently passed away, far advanced in years.
