Let us consider the first part of the Apostle Paul's definition of faith, that Faith is the substance of things hoped for. My friend and his wife are most happily married and their wedded life has been one long honeymoon. Seemingly the cross word which brings sorrow to the soul has never passed between the two, and the faith which each had in the other prior to marriage, and which brought them together, has become by the flight of years, an absolute knowledge, But without this faith as the foundation upon which to build, the marriage which has resulted so happily would never have occurred.
