In order to improve quality concept in higher education we need to assess educational processes without forgetting to discuss distance learning processes. For these reasons, three assessment models are presented: the first assesses educational processes, the second e-learning processes and the third a combination between them to assess mixed processes. Then, they are refined by listing their related assessment criteria. A survey methodology is chosen to assess learning and teaching processes of Certificate of Informatics and Internet training, and to validate the first proposed model, beside an on-line survey with a file transfer tool are developed using CMS technology. Empirical results from collected data show that some of the characteristics of the lecturer, the profile of the student, and learning situation s characteristics increase learner s satisfaction and decrease the rate of absenteeism.
