Lernen hat etwas mit Gefühlen zu tun. Wer bei einem Lernprozeß positive Gefühle entwickelt - sich mit Hingabe und inneren Engagement dem zu lernenden Material hingibt, bei dem wird Lernen als ein selbstverständlicher Prozeß eingehen, ohne dass es ihm bewußt wird , dass er viel Arbeit leistet. Leider ist die Schulpraxis oft nicht so , sondern Zwang , Angst und Frustration sind oft die ständigen Begleiter der SchulerInnen. Das nicht selten autoritär, repressive Auftreten der LehrerInnen macht Lernen oft zu einem entfremdeten Prozeß, der bei vielen SchülerInnen psychische Probleme hervorruft, welche sie ihre ganze Schullaufbahn begleiten. Nicht ohne Grund gibt es in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland eine erschreckend hohe Zahl an AnalphabetInnen, deren Bildungsdefizit wohl eher selten auf ein individuelles Intelligenzdefizit zurückzuführen ist, sondern wohl eher auf elementare Mißstände seitens der im Schulwesen praktizierten Pädagogik und Didaktik. Kann denn Schule ohne Rotstift Wissen vermitteln und dabei die Lernenden noch begeistern ? Die Grundlage hierfür wird in den ersten Schuljahren gelegt. Schrift- und Spracherwerb bei den jüngsten Mitgliedern der Gesellschaft kann mit Freude und Begeisterung einhergehen und nebenbei einen außerordentlichen Wissenszuwachs beinhalten. Hierfür muß aber erst die traditionelle Pädagogik und Didaktik ins Museum gestellt und neue Wege praktiziert werden: Ein Unterricht weitgehendst ohne Lehrerautorität und determinierte Strukturen, ein offenes Lernen in einer offenen Schule. Das diese neuen Wege keine bloßen theoretischen Ideale sind, belegen einschlägige wissenschaftliche Studien, die den Erfolg dieser neuen Methoden offenlegen, dort wo sie schon praktiziert werden.
