The Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics: An Interactive Interpretation - Taschenbuch

2009, ISBN: 9780521371056

Gebundene Ausgabe, ID: 15384799

Hard Bound . New. (Size: 22x14.5cms.), The book entitled, The Theory of Zero-Existence with a subtitle Maya, The Power Divine, Propounds a theory that bridges the gap between the findings of higher Physics and those of Vedanta Philosophy, and is a post-Bohr analysis of the nature of the universe. It takes the reader , differently in each of its chapters to the very same conclusion of the theory it attempts to establish. It stretches the conclusions of the Theory of relativity, by their implications, to the very same point where the Quantum Theory finally arrives at, and in the process, it answers some of the yet un-answered questions of higher physics and makes certain discoveries, such as a state of absolute rest. However, it does not concede to some the findings of Einstein in his theory of Relativity, and of course puts forth strong basis for doing so. The whats and hows of Einstein , the contrary, are also aided by answering their unanswered whys and it thus extends and forties the views he offers. Based on a solid scientific foundation, this book not only establishes the fact that the world is an illusion, as didi the Quantum Mechanics and of course, the Vedanta Philosophy, but also identifies, the mother of this illusory creation, which to our knowledge, no one has done so far. With a simple beginning in the first chapter, it proceeds with an ever-increasing complexity of thought to establish a new theory it advocates. 8176252751 x+90 Yr. of Pub.2002, Oxford University Press, 1968. Book. Fair. Wraps (soft-cover). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Some moderate rubbing to covers, owner's name, and some markings to text. Otherwise a clean, tight and unmarked book. Neat. Index. xii,168p.., Oxford University Press, 1968, Mumbai: Zen Publications, 2009. Soft cover. New. 22 cms. 189pp. Order flows from consistent laws. Our understanding of our universe is changing, but Reality behind it is unchanged. Einstein?s relativity amended Newtonian determinism, and was in turn amended by quantum mechanics. Einstein saw a harmonious advance in knowledge, and said, ?God does not play dice?; but Stephen Hawking later saw a radical departure, and said, ?God is a gambler?. This author, a deep student of philosophy with a moderate background of science, sees in these conflicting conclusions the inevitable distortion when ?the relative? is projected on to ?the Absolute.? Therefore he says, ?Do not worry about God. He is not a visiting player like you and me, but the absolute owner of the casino. When He plays, His ieft hand picks up what His right hand loses, His status remains unaltered. We had better be looking out for ourselves.? The serious point made is that the Absolute includes and exceeds the time-space-causation frame of relativity, and these parameters cannot cross the border. The limitations must be clearly understood. ?Time? of physics is enough to study kinetic processes but not to locate the creative potential. That requires ?time? of our conscious awareness. But bio-science mistakes consciousness to be a product of brain-cells. In truth, consciousness is the energy, and brain is the equipment through which it manifests. Thus TIME is the Achilles? heel of physics, and MIND is the Achilles? heel of biology. The name of Reality is Total Consciousness. It is eternal, Death was never born, and life never died., Zen Publications, 2009, New York, NY, U.S.A.: Bantam Books, 1988. 055305340X Slight wear to corners; shelf wear & a few tiny tears to dust jacket; clean, tight, unmarked. From Timothy Ferris, Vanity Fair: "Stephen Hawking has overcome a crippling disease to become the supernova of world physics. Unable to write, or even to speak clearly, he is leaping beyond relativity, beyond quantum mechanics, beyond the big bang, to the 'dance of geometry'." . Hardcover.
